More than 114 exhibitors will be on-hand as MakeUp in NewYork returns to Center 415 on September 11-12 for two action-filled B2B days of supplier offerings, conferences and industry networking. Organizers say the majority of suppliers specialize in formulation and full service, particularly in the makeup and skincare categories. A roster of 18 new exhibitors to the show this year includes seven from Italy. Center415 is conveniently located at 415 5th Ave. in midtown Manhattan. Hours are 9am-5pm each day. Special Features As is always the case with MakeUp in events, in addition to a full conference program, several special features will take place during the two days. The trends agency Beautystreams will present a special display on the “color of the year” for 2020. The identified color is a result of in-depth study and analysis by their team of global color experts, based on information gathered from a variety of sources ranging from beauty, fashion, art, social media, design, sociology and consumer lifestyle movements. This year the hue emerges from the rich chromatic splendor of nature, heralding the turn of a new decade. “We live in an era where eco is more than a trend; it enters every part of our lives and becomes a necessity,” explains Lan Vu, founder/CEO of Beautystreams. Chic Studio is a makeup school that will do touch-ups and demo during MakeUp in NewYork. Stop by the Chic Studios Beauty Bar for smoky eyes, contouring, lipstick application and professional advice. The Beauty Bar is not only the perfect way to take a break at the show, but also allows visitors to see first-hand the creativity of the school’s makeup students, and pick up tips on the latest color and products trends.
